MY ANGEL MY FRIEND

I couldn't imagine my life without you
My Angel, my Confidant, and Friend
You're always there when times get hard
With a shoulder to lean on, an ear to lend

I wasn't always sure what a good Friend was
A party friend, a shopping friend, A lunch pal?
Someone to talk to on the phone for hours?
Perhaps all of that, but it's more now.

A Friend is someone with whom to confide
Who will listen and genuinely understand
Who doesn't judge you, but accepts who you are
Gives you confidence and says "Yes you can!"

A Friend stands by you, when times get rough
When you think you've no friends left, anymore
Always there, through thick and through thin
Walking in, as other's walk out the door

I'm very grateful to know you my Friend
and to understand what true friendships mean
A Friend is forever, beyond time on this earth
An Angel, a confidant and Friend!
