SMILE AMERICA
In this modern day and age
as worries start to pile
sometimes it is hard to find
a simple little smile
We disagree on politics
disagree on how we think
disagree on what we like to eat
disagree on what we drink
We disagree on movie stars
who can act and who can not
we disagree on music stars
Who has got it, who is hot
We disagree on football games
and basketball as well
we disagree on baseball
ah...it's hopeless I can tell
But there's one thing that we do agree
A smile is worth it's weight in gold
It doesn't cost a doggone cent
and it can't be bought or sold
You can give it to a good friend
or a stranger in the street
and I can tell you this for sure
it's a gift that can't be beat
You can really make a difference
if you go that extra mile
show a little love, America
put on that big ol' smile
