My life is like a ferris wheel,
FERRIS WHEEL
My life seems so grim,
and slowly draws a frown,
and when things start to look up,
again it falls down.
.
Problems I brought onto myself,
and problems brought onto me,
does anyone know what I'm going through,
please tell me that you see.
.
Days go on like years,
with nights so lonely and cold,
I am so very young,
yet I feel so very old.
.
I am so very scared,
I have so many fears,
and without you there for me,
it brings on even more tears.
.
You couldn't possibly know,
the pain I'm going through,
and you'd run the other direction,
even if you knew.
.
So many choices each day,
that I'd rather not choose,
'cause it all seems like a game,
that I can't win or lose.
.
I'm tired of playing hide and seek,
no, I don't want to race,
It's time to take on my problems,
here and now, face to face.
.
But I can't do it alone,
I'm just waiting for your care,
just stand by my side,
let me know you're there.
.
I'm not asking for too much,
it's not a pot of gold,
just a friendship everlasting,
one that never grows old.
.
And with this friendship,
I can go on,
and all my fears,
they will be gone.
.
If we have this friendship,
and my love you truly feel,
please push that big red button,
that stops this ferris wheel
