ANOTHER DAY

I just exist
I live this way
yet I survive
another day-

Another day
of hanging on
life on edge
my feelings gone

I try to reason
with my soul
I try to cope
my only goal

My spirt's gone
it up and left
life feels  hopeless
I need to rest
 
 
 

HOPE

An Angel came
and showed me how
to find the help
I'm getting now

She came along
at my rope's end
and let me know
I had a friend

It took some strength
to seek out hope
I'm glad I did
it helped me cope

The road's still long
but at the end
I see my Angel
and  LIFE BEGINS
