I LIKE COUNTRY

I like my old blue jeans

and my old floppy hat!

I'm pure country

and I like it like that!

I like my guitar

and I play a cool tune

Sittin' on the front porch

contemplatin' the moon.

I like chewin' on straw

and watchin' the bees.

Pickin' wildflowers

as tall as my knees.

I like sittin' by the creek

and listenin' to frogs

Runnin' through the woods

jumpin' over old logs..

I like goin' barefoot

in the summer breeze.

I like corn on the cob

and black eyed peas.

I like the sound

of a soft rainy day

Dew on the clover

and the smell of fresh hay

I like bein' country

I like it, it's true.

But gosh, most of all....

I especially like you!
