A WALK BY THE LAKE

As evening sun sets in the west
Clouds stroll through golden light
I walk along the rippling shore
Taking in the splendid sight

The call of geese upon the wing
The whispers of the pines
Soft fine sand beneath my feet
My heart and soul entwined.
.
It's here I find my inner peace
Where waters softly flow
It's here that I can find myself
And let my troubles go.
