TOLL HOUSE CHOCOLATE CHIP PAN COOKIES

2 1/4 cups flour

1 tsp. vanilla

1 tsp. baking soda

2 eggs

1 tsp. salt

1 (12 oz.) pkg chocolate chips (or 3 squares semi sweet chocolate)

1 cup butter (softened)

3/4 cups sugar

1 cup chopped nuts

3/4 cups brown sugar

Preheat oven to 375 degrees and combine butter, sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla. Beat until creamy. Beat in eggs. Gradually add dry ingredients. Mix well - Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Spread into 15x10x1 jelly roll baking pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes.

Can be divided in half for a 6 oz. pkg chips. Use a 9x13 pan, and bake 12-15 minutes.
