TOLL HOUSE COOKIES
Preheat oven to 375 degrees
2 1/4 Cups all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 cup butter ( 2 sticks)
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 eggs
2 cups or 11.5 oz package of semi sweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped nuts
Combine flour, soda and salt in bowl and set aside. Beat butter, sugars and vanilla in large mixing bowl. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake in preheated 375 degree oven for 9 to 11 minutes. Makes about 5 dozen cookies. These are the BEST!
