RHUBARB PIE - Seems everyone wants the recipe for a rhubarb pie like grandma use to make. This is how my grandma made rhubarb pie. Very easy to make. Hope you enjoy it.
RHUBARB PIE
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Pastry for 2 crust pie
3 cups rhubarb cut fine
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 egg
1/4 cup flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 T. butter or margarine
Place rhubarb in large bowl, Add sugar, egg, flour and cinnamon. Mix well. Spoon into pastry lined pie pan. Dot with butter. Place top crust on pie, vent and crimp. Brush with milk and sprinkle with a little sugar. Bake in 350 degree oven for 45 to 50 minutes or until rhubarb is done and crust is brown. Makes 1 pie.
