MINTS

3 Tbsp. butter or margarine

3 Tbsp. milk

1 box creamy white frosting mix (box not can)

Food coloring

1/2 tsp. peppermint extract

 

Put butter and milk in a 2 quart microwavable safe bowl.
Cook on high for 45 seconds or until butter is melted.
Stir in boxed frosting mix.
Cook on high for another 1 1/2 to 2 minutes, or until mixture is bubbly, stirring twice during cooking time.
Remove from microwave and stir in food coloring and extract.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto waxed paper to cool.
Store in air-tight container.

May use any color of the food coloring you like, red for Valentine's, green for St. Patrick day, etc.
