PEANUT BUTTER CRISSCROSSES

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

1 cup Crisco

1 cup sugar

1 cup brown sugar (firmly packed)

1 tsp. vanilla

2 eggs

1 cup creamy peanut butter

3 cups flour

2 tsp. baking soda

1/2 tsp. salt

Cream Crisco and sugars
Add vanilla, eggs and peanut butter, mix till combined
Add dry ingredients, flour, soda and salt, mixing well
F
orm into walnut size balls, place on cookie sheet, and flatten with fork in crisscross pattern
OR Form into a log shape, refrigerate for a half hour or so, then slice into desired thickness and place on ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake for 10 - 12 minutes till nicely browned, depending on your oven.
