1 lb lean ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
1 lg green pepper, chopped
1 can tomatoes
1/2 cup cooked rice (I prepare the instant kind)
1 to 2 tsp. chili powder
2 tsp. salt (or less)
1/8 tsp. pepper
Heat oven to 350 degrees.
In a large skillet, cook ground beef until browned. Drain off fat. Add onions
and green pepper. Cook and stir until onion is tender.
Stir in tomatoes, cooked rice, chili powder, salt and pepper. Heat thoroughly.
Pour into ungreased 2 quart casserole dish.
Cover and bake for 1 hour.
